Overview
Cadence (“we,” “us”) is a content-operations platform operated by Falkor Studios that helps businesses and marketing teams plan, create, schedule, publish, and measure content across their own social and web channels. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Cadence web application and related services.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email, and the organization/brand details you provide when you sign up and configure a project.
- Content you create or upload — drafts, campaigns, images, documents, and other material you add to the platform.
- Connected accounts — when you connect a social or publishing account (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X), we store the access tokens needed to act on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Data from connected platforms — the Pages/profiles you administer and authorize, the posts you publish through Cadence, and post-level engagement metrics (impressions, reactions, comments, shares) for that content.
- Usage data — basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your data
We use your data solely to provide and improve the service you request:
- Plan, generate, review, schedule, and publish content to the accounts you connect.
- Show you analytics and insights about your own published content.
- Operate, secure, and improve the platform.
We do not use data obtained through social-platform APIs — including any personal, profile, or activity data from the LinkedIn APIs — for advertising or sales targeting, and we do not sell your data.
Platform data (LinkedIn, Meta, X)
Data we obtain via a connected platform's APIs is used only to deliver the content-management and analytics features you ask for on the accounts you administer, in compliance with each platform's developer terms and policies. You authorize access only to your own accounts and the Pages you manage; we never access accounts or Pages you do not administer. We delete platform-obtained data when you disconnect the account, when you request it, or if the platform requires it.
Service providers
We share data only with the providers needed to run the service: our cloud database and storage provider (Supabase), AI providers used to generate and analyze content (e.g. Anthropic), our email provider (Resend), and the social/publishing platforms you connect. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms; we do not sell your data to anyone.
Data retention and deletion
You control your data. You can disconnect any connected account at any time from Account → Channels, which removes the stored access tokens and the platform data associated with that connection. You can also request deletion of your account and all associated data, and we will delete it. Data obtained via the LinkedIn APIs is deleted upon disconnection, upon your request, or upon LinkedIn's request. We retain other data only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
Security
We protect your data with encryption of connected-account tokens at rest, row-level access controls scoping data to your projects, and access over secure (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data, and disconnect any connected account. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or contact us at the address below.
